We are committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining the security of your personal information. This privacy policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our online services.

We collect personal information (such as your name, email address, street address, and phone number) when you voluntarily provide such personal information to us through written forms, online forms, or other communication channels.

We use the information you provide to communicate with you, to send you updates and information about our services, to respond to your inquiries or requests, and to analyze trends and statistics regarding our services, including the use of our website.

Your phone number may be used to send you SMS messages if you opt in to receive such messages.  By providing a telephone number and answering YES to the question “Would you like to receive texts from the Fulshear church of Christ?" (or similar question or method), you are consenting to be contacted by SMS text message,  and you are agreeing that message and data rates may apply.

No mobile information will be shared  with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories in this privacy policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

If you are a member of the Fulshear church of Christ (a “Member”), you may be provided access to the secure non-public Members Only section of our website.  If so, you agree to securely maintain your access credentials (user name and password), to not knowingly provide your access credentials to anyone else, and to promptly change your password and alert us if you believe anyone else has obtained your access credentials.  As a Member, you also agree that the personal information you provide to the Fulshear church of Christ (such as your photograph, name, address, and phone number) may be included in a directory of such information that is made available to any user with access to the Members Only section of our website. You also agree that such information may be included in a church bulletin that is sent by email to other Members or that is printed and made available in the lobby of our building to anyone who attends a service of the Fulshear church of Christ. You agree not to provide any personal information about any Member that you obtained from the website (such as the church directory) to anyone who is not a Member.

To improve our website and services, we may also collect non-personal information, such as your browser type, your IP address, the pages you visit on our website, and other such usage data.

Our website may use “Cookies” (small files placed on your device) to enhance your experience on our website. You can instruct your web browser to refuse all Cookies or to indicate when a Cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept Cookies from our website, you may not be able to use some parts of our service. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse Cookies, our service may use Cookies.

We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal data to third parties, affiliates, or partners.

Under certain circumstances, we may be required to disclose your personal data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (such as a court or a government agency).  By using our services, you agree that we may disclose your personal data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, to protect and defend the rights or property of the church, to prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with our online services, to protect the personal safety of our users or the public, and to protect against legal liability.
